ReStory Repair Guide is a static informational website. It does not require an account and it does not run a first-party database for your checklist. Checklist and achievement progress are stored in your browser's local storage when you use those controls.

The site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate usage and improve navigation. It also includes the Google AdSense publisher script; Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or similar technologies to serve contextual or personalized ads according to their own policies. You can manage ad personalization in Google Ads Settings and control cookies through your browser; where consent is required, visitors should make the appropriate choice before personalized advertising is used. Do not enter personal information into checklist notes.

External links, including Steam, have their own privacy practices. This policy may change when the site adds a new provider; the review date on this page will be updated when that happens.
